I'm writing this blog because I have had so many incredible, amazing things happen in my life, and I want a record of it. And because I want to share them. I have been greatly blessed all my life, but the past 12 months have been very special to me. I feel like all the seeds that have been planted by God, my family, and other special people along the way have taken root. While I am almost 27 years old, I feel like things are really just beginning to sprout. That's where I came up with the name, Rose Vines. Each of these little journeys seems to help me grow a bit more and bring about a wondrous result. Something you just know God had a hand in. Just like a rose vine. I've had some encouragement to share these experiences from some of you, so here it is. Read whenever you like. Naturally some days are bound to be my rambling chatter, or my attempts at deep thinking, but maybe some of it will mean something to one of you. As you all know, I am an open book. I am completely open to any questions or comments and would love to share anything that might be of help to someone.
Most of you know I began my dream job this week working for the ASCPA. It has been a fabulous two days! I feel so at home there... like finding your "career spouse", it's just the perfect fit. My wonderful husband made one of my favorite meals for dinner last night and did all the dishes. To see how happy he was for me is an overwhelming feeling of knowing you are loved. My mother said I sounded like a kid coming home from the first day of school. She said hearing my voice after work yesterday was the best gift I could have given her. I cannot explain how happy I am. As they say, life is good. 2010 is shaping up to be amazing, and I cannot wait to see what God has in store!
